Keystone Lintels is delighted to have been awarded Gold Member status by the Supply Chain Sustainability School for its commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a world class collaboration enabling a sustainable built environment.

Keystone Lintels has a strong focus on sustainability with a sustainable procurement policy in place which aims to minimise any negative environmental and social impacts. Keystone’s commitment to sustainability has resulted in various considerable investments being made across their operations including new electric forklifts which produce zero emissions as well as a new energy efficient LED lighting system and a new fleet of fuel efficient lorries.

Keystone Lintels has worked closely with the Supply Chain Sustainability School to complete a sustainability assessment and provide their employees with access to CPD accredited resources and training.

Derrick McFarland, Managing Director of Keystone Lintels said “We are delighted to have been awarded Gold Member status by the Supply Chain Sustainability School. This is a testament to the commitment of our team who see sustainability as a key priority for the business. We have implemented a wide range of investments to protect the environment that has already resulted in a reduction in energy usage, an increase in efficiency and an increase in our recycling capabilities. Our new fleet of lorries has resulted in a 25% reduction in carbon emissions and we are dedicated to finding sustainable methods of delivering products to our customers throughout the UK and Ireland. We are looking forward to continuing to work with the Supply Chain Sustainability School to reinforce our commitment to sustainability and safeguard the environment for the future.”
