She Builds UK is the brain-child of Neil Perry, a commercial photographer specialising in architecture, design, and the wider built environment.
The project centres around using portrait photography to create role models of those women already working in construction for younger females. The project was inspired by Neil's 7-year-old daughter Jessie telling him "I can't be a builder, only men are builders" when he told her she could do any job she wanted when she was older.
