It is generally accepted that the replacement of traditional boilers with heat pumps for providing heat, is a key part of the decarbonisation of any project or housing, healthcare or education estate strategy. However, the business case for heat pump replacement is often difficult to justify. This is driven by the high capital replacement cost and the cost of electricity in compared to gas, meaning the payback is difficult to achieve. There is also the issue of noise associated with the systems.
Come and join us as our panel discuss:
- The benefits of Air Source Heat pumps
- What are the cost implications?
- Managing the transition from traditional boilers over a large estate.
- Associated noise issues
- Are there better alternatives?
