The Ministry of Common Land will embark on a parade from the exhibition at the Building Centre to Bedford Square, celebrating the end of the project with a picnic and a speech made up of the manifesto’s wallpaper sheets. The parade is a symbolic outing of the Ministry of Common Land banner and the props created for the situated image. As a performance, the parade offers an alternative imagery to power structures that currently govern land, by extending its definition beyond the Anthropocene to include nature and non-human species. We will take an aerial photo at the picnic that is the final situated image of the ministry of common land.
