In response to China's increased investment in healthcare, which is part of the Chinese government's Five-Year Plan to build 3,000 new hospitals and update 26% of existing hospitals, this year’s summit will explore people-centred and holistic hospital planning. The summit will look at design concepts, hospital service management, intelligent hospital systems, specialist medical centres, green materials and energy efficiency management systems.
Thirty-five influential Chinese hospital leaders and healthcare architects will come to the UK for an interactive discussion with UK healthcare specialists about sustainable hospital design and development.
