Hybrid Specwall, Plasterboard, Acoustic, Fire Rated Partition wall, Panel Systems for Internal Separating Walls SP75-HB-003 - Lightweight Concrete Panel

Specwall

Specwall hybrid wall is an advanced wall system that is built with plasterboard to achieve a higher acoustic value. Specwall is water permeable and doesn’t break down when submerged in water, making it suitable for pre-build, Cat A and Cat B installs. (Refer to manufacturer’s data sheet for materials other than Specwall such as drywall, plasterboard). Our product can be used to create separating walls, light weight walls, partition walls, insulation walls, lining walls, fire walls and others.

Specwall hybrid wall is made up of the Specwall system on one side and a plasterboard system on the other side. Integration with existing wall systems in the market is seamless. MEP design can accommodate service openings which can be formed off-site or on-site depending on the client preference.

All Specwall Panel joints are PU adhesive bonded and filled with grout. Taping and jointing can be requested by the client. The wall can have finishes applied directly, including tiles, skim and paint, depending on which side needs to be finished. Refer to manufacturer's technical manual for plasterboard finishes.

Advantages:

  1. A2 fire rated (Specwall Panel Only) - fire partition walls which prioritise fire resistance and fire performance
  2. Reduced labour - Time and motion case studies show Specwall can reduce labour hours needed for installation by more than 55%.
  3. Reduced costs - Specwall can save on overall costs through programme savings, reducing waste, resisting damage and more.
  4. Water permeable - Specwall is not affected or damaged by water or mould and can be installed before the building is water tight. Does not promote mould growth.
  5. Sustainable - Manufactured all-in-one product means Specwall achieves minimal wastage, and all of which can be recycled. Specwall panels are demountable and can be reconfigured at any point through a simple process as per design.
  6. More efficient - Streamline your project management process by reducing wall types and requiring fewer trades on site.
  7. Hybrid construction
  8. Quick installation - Specwall can be installed initially, followed by other trades then to be closed off with plasterboard wall system.
  9. Better acoustic rating for acoustic walls and sound walls
