William Robertson Wing, Medical Building, Edinburgh University

21 May 2014
Case study

Edinburgh University was originally founded in1583 and is one of the oldest universities in the world.  With extremely high academic ratings the university strives to provide the highest quality learning and teaching environment.  To continue and maintain this high quality standard the client wanted a sleek, hard wearing floor finish, giving a sophisticated contemporary look that would enhance the environment and not clash with the traditional surroundings.
Norament serra (slate effect tiles) were installed in the main corridor areas for the William Robertson Wing.  Providing an extremely resilient hard wearing, quiet under foot and easy to maintain floor.  This building with its extremely high foot traffic  links the campus at Teviot Place, the old medical building and the Chrystal MacMillan building.  This is just one of several key refurbishments projects being carried out by the university proving that nora® flooring meets the high standards of the University. www.nora.com/uk
