Wienerberger, the provider of wall, roof and landscaping innovations, is celebrating after receiving 15 nominations in this year’s Brick Development Association (BDA) Awards.

The nominations spanned eight categories, and the projects include 'Rockbourne Mews' in South East London (using Marziale), 'Bedwas Extra Care Facility' in Mid Glamorgan (using Anglesey Weathered Buff), 'Seven Acres' in Cambridge (using Marziale) and 'The Library of Birmingham' (using various Penter pavers).

In 2013, Wienerberger projects scooped four awards including Best Public Building, Best Outdoor Space, Architect’s Choice Award and the highly coveted Supreme Award.

The winners will be announced at the prestigious BDA Awards on 12th November at the Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London.

Annette Forster, Director of Marketing at Wienerberger, said:

“The BDA Awards showcase Wienerberger’s ambition to improve people’s quality of life. The BDA award nominations are a great achievement for everybody at Wienerberger, our customers as well as the architects and contractors that were involved in all the projects that have been nominated and shortlisted – our team has worked so hard to compile the entries and we are looking forward to the awards ceremony to hopefully repeat our success from last year!”
