The Dogs Trust

16 Feb 2015
Case study

The Dogs Trust formerly known as the National Canine Defence League was re-branded
in 2003 and now has 20 re-homing centres in the UK and Ireland. The charity specializes
in the welfare and re-habilitation of dogs in need of a new home.

Some of the Centre’s are being re-furbished to provide a modern and more colourful
appearance. The Loughborough branch of the Dogs Trust has been sustainably built
and is working towards achieving BREEAM outstanding classification.

The Centre’s are extremely bright and welcoming. The project requirements in this case
were stain resistance, durability and colour choice, needing to comply with the Dogs Trust
corporate colour (yellow). nora® floorings can be produced in bespoke colours subject to
a minimum order. For the Denton branch of the Dogs Trust (see below) norament® grano
tiles and noraplan® sentica and noraplan® signa were chosen along with accessories.

Challenge: Provide a durable and stain resistant flooring solution with an
outstanding colour choice.

Flooring solution for Denton branch of Dogs Trust: 1000 sqm norament 926 grano, 900 sqm noraplan sentica, 100 sqm of noraplan signa+ accessories
