Aspinall’s have supplied and installed a number of components for The Whitworth in Manchester inlcuding seventy three 4m long bespoke structural mullions in mirror polished stainless steel.
The Mullions are situated in the newly erected glazed walkway dubbed the 'promenade' which was designed to draw on the Whitworth's heritage as the first English gallery in a park, the new wings create an art garden between them with the mullions' oblique sides reflecting the parks greenery and helping the visitors immerse themselves into the park.
Aspinall’s also supplied and installed a number of super-slim brise-soleil modules that protects the gallery's art from excess light and give a crafted quality to the whole exterior
