Responding to architectural demand for colour and texture in the urban built environment, external cladding board specialist CEMBRIT has made a colourful start to the New Year.  The company has introduced a raft of new additions to its popular cladding range, which now offers around 50 different colours. Cembrit True, is the latest addition, a through-coloured fibre cement board which is ideal for rainscreen cladding applications.

Delivering creativity in design, decorative rainscreen cladding is particularly suitable for Multi Dwelling Units, new or refurbished residential buildings and educational buildings. Popular in Scandinavia there are some fabulous examples of civic and commercial buildings that bring a vibrant touch of colour to the build environment.  In the UK Cembrit has a number of references of rainscreen cladding used on university, schools and colleges buildings.

Cembrit True is available in seven popular colours: Gobi, Vesuv, Olympus, Etna, Antarctic, Kilimanjaro and Sahara, carefully chosen to harmonise with traditional British building materials. The colour is impregnated throughout the board, with a translucent coating enhancing its long lasting durability against poor weather conditions Cembrit offers a 15 year durability warranty providing additional peace of mind for clients and designers.

“We are delighted to announce that we have extended the colours available within our cladding range through Cembrit True” says Ged Ferris, Marketing Manager at Cembrit. “Providing reliability of performance with a choice of colour, texture and form is one of the key responsibilities of decorative cladding suppliers. That is why the market is seeing regular developments from Cembrit”.

The sheets are 8mm thick and weigh 57.6Kg per board.
