Worldwide leader in mesh fabrics for construction applications, Saint-Gobain ADFORS accelerates its investments to anticipate market growth. Target is to accompany the growth of its customers.
Since the beginning of 2011, Saint-Gobain ADFORS has already increased capacities by 20%. The full effect of this investment is available since July. To be ready for the expected growth of the ETICS market in coming years, the company has decided an additional capacity increase of 40% over the next 2 years, of which the first half will be fully operational for January 2012. Saint-Gobain ADFORS has continuously supported the growing mesh fabrics market over the past 20 years. The company operates own glass furnaces for mesh fabrics and has strongly invested in furnaces, weaving and coating equipment especially during the last decade. As a result, it disposes of state-of-the art technology in all important steps of mesh production and offers a wide range of innovative products for high end quality applications. Product and technology developments in the Czech plant are supported by the Saint-Gobain R&D centers.
Drawing on its extensive know-how, Saint-Gobain ADFORS has developed a broad product range recognized for the intrinsic quality: non-flammability, rot resistance, high mechanical strength and excellent performance in an alkaline environment.
Mesh fabrics from Saint-Gobain ADFORS are the best protection for the External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). Those products guarantee the durability of the whole system through high mechanical resistance: by preventing cracks from appearing in mortars and so avoiding any possibility of infiltration.
