Phenomenal success for Sunsquare at Grand Designs Live London

World-leading skylight designer and manufacturer Sunsquare saw phenomenal success at Grand Designs Live London as it unveiled new products and the skylight industry’s first BSI verification certificate.

Sunsquare’s new models of pyramid and opening skylights were on show alongside its product range of skylights and walk-on floorlights and rooflights in the Grand Build.

The company’s position as industry leaders was cemented shortly before the show as Sunsquare was awarded the first British Standards Institute verification certificate for a skylight maker. The certificate means that Sunsquare’s products have undergone the BSI’s rigorous testing for weather performance and quality.

Sunsquare saw in excess of 15,000 people on their stand, interested visitors took thousands of brochures home, and the Sunsquare team are in the process of putting together hundreds of quotes from enquiries.

Justin Seldis, Managing Director of Sunsquare, said: “It was simply amazing that so many people came to see us. People were bringing plans of some wonderful projects to us, and as we are designers and a specification led company they were able to get professional advice from the market leading experts.

“Our new pyramid/lantern was a huge hit. People liked the solid look and quality construction as well as the new 30-degree pitch. We are absolutely thrilled to have been embraced so solidly by Grand Designs Live visitors, and it was such a resounding success that we’ve already booked a huge stand for the show in 2015.”

Sunsquare’s new pyramid model is pitched at 30 degrees, 15 degrees lower than the previous model to be less intrusive but offer just as much light, and the new opening aero skylights have been completely redesigned to use new actuators for a smoother opening, and open to an 85 degree angle.

Hundreds of visitors also entered the competition to win a bespoke skylight to be designed, manufactured and fitted by Sunsquare.
