Knockbain Free Church, Bogallan

18 Dec 2013
Case study
The redevelopment of Knockbain Free Church in Bogallan, near Inverness is the latest project to feature Fakro conservation roof windows. This was the first occasion that Douglas Stuart Design had specified Fakro products, in this case choosing FTP-V Electro centre pivot windows in conservation style. Jolie Ho of Douglas Stuart Architects commented, “Conservation roof windows were chosen because the building is Category C(S) listed and Fakro was able to supply a specific size which we were unable to source elsewhere. We will definitely specify these windows again”. Builder Martin Matheson had also not previously installed Fakro windows and added, “The product quality and support we received enabled the job to be done with ease and we have purchased Fakro products for two projects since”.
