220 square metres of Junckers Beech SylvaSport Premium has been installed in the K Club in Kildare, home to this year's golf Ryder Cup. The floor runs throughout the gym and aerobics areas; creating a warm natural backdrop to the high-tech equipment. It was laid using Junckers' UnoBat 62+ system, conforming to both DIN 18032 and the new EN standard. This sub-floor is part of a versatile UnoBat range from Junckers and features a unique '2-step' shock absorbency system combining soft and hard rubber for optimal response. Laminated spruce battens ensure strength and stability with uniform performance across the whole floor. ENV fatigue tests demonstrate that UnoBat floors retain their elasticity even after 25 years of use.
