The newest addition to Junckers' extensive range of solid hardwoods is Jarrah - one of many eucalyptus species native to Western Australia.
Solid Jarrah combines exceptional strength and density with rich burgundy tones, varying from light to dark to produce a very lively flooring. Its striking good looks are highlighted by the generous 129mm wide boards. Grown in managed forestry secured by The Australian Forestry Standard under PEFC, Jarrah offers the opportunity to achieve a 'tropical' red timber floor that is ecologically sound. Junckers wide board floors are now available in four different lengths. They can be laid directly over any dry, level surface, either with Junckers’ unique Clip System or by glueing. Junckers’ wide boards can also be laid as structural floors and are ideally suited to use with underfloor heating.
