News
Hampshire - based architectural features company Good Directions Ltd have a large range of roof turrets, which although manufactured in the modern material GRP so that they are maintenance-free, are now so realistic, with wood grain finish and a choice of wood colours, they look like truly authentic wood cupolas.

Using these new techniques it is now possible to replicate old cupolas using measurements taken from any parts remaining or by using old photographs. The finished roof turret or clock tower could look identical to the original and in keeping with restoration work but with obvious advantages of not requiring painting or maintenance.

Clock restoration can also be undertaken using modern and traditional materials in harmony, allowing customers to repair or restore original features including the dial, movement and bell chiming. Strike mechanisms can be used with modern control system or where real bells are unavailable a state of the art electronic chiming system can be installed giving an authentic sound which can be set to different volumes and even set to automatically switch off at night.
