A sensitive approach was required for the restoration of Hoofield Hall Barns, six elegant Grade II listed barn conversions within a traditional courtyard.
Imperial's brick match team worked closely with award-winning developer Cheshire Barn Homes and local conservation officers to supply a blend of bricks which would not only match the original structures for infill and repair work, but also enable the newly constructed elements to preserve the rural character of the development.
Traditional imperial-sized Olde Reclamation Clamp handmade bricks were chosen for their ability to offer an attractive reclaimed look and the courtyard walls were completed with Reclamation Soft Red copings for a traditional, aged appearance.
The characterful bricks offer an instantly established appearance for the development, in keeping with its historic surroundings.
