Case Study: London Mews House Modernisation

This London mews house was in need of modernisation to the doors and windows. It was vital the existing sash windows were kept in order to preserve the Georgian facade of the property from the street, situated as it is in a historically important part of London.

Internal timber subframes were created to house the new bronze casements, which were conscientiously designed so that the bronze frames would follow the sightlines of the original external timber frames and thus maintain the aesthetic of the building.
