Case study

The Hunter Douglas Architectural range of 80 and 130 BXD linear ceilings has been specified to great effect on the interior ceiling void of the recently refurbished Chisinau Airport in the Republic of Moldova.

Tasked with designing a more functional, efficient and comfortable experience for passengers, local architects Archform have created a friendly ecological atmosphere that has filled the terminal space with light and air, whilst retaining the traditional ambience of a modern airport building.

Hunter Douglas Architectural’s range of BXD linear panels are ideal for such environments and are renowned for their ability to turn loud environments into spaces with comfortable acoustic ambiance.

They are available in heights of 64mm and three widths 30, 80 and 130mm. Varying the widths between panels and combining differing height panels from their multi panel range can achieve a range of three-dimensional patterns. This unique pairing of different panels makes it possible to create a highly functional finish to the ceiling void in large environments such as airports, shopping malls and major transport hubs.

A wide choice of colours and finishes enhances this versatile ceiling system and encourages Architects to adapt their designs to meet the latest trends for areas destined for high traffic.
