Case study

nora systems have provided 2,700 SQM of  its noraplan® sentica and noraplan ultra grip floor coverings and accessories, including skirting and adhesive, to the new Bob Champion Research and Education Building in Norwich.  Officially opened in February 2015, this new building provides world class leading research facilities for the treatment of many different types of cancer and other diseases, and will be used by undergraduate and post graduate students from the University of East Anglia, as well as training medical students on the operational procedures of hospital bays.

To meet the client’s brief, Architects Hawkins Brown required a hard wearing, durable floor which would provide comfort underfoot and ease of maintenance. nora products ticked all these boxes. The very dense surfaces of nora floorings require no coatings and are therefore exceptionally durable and wear resistant; this makes them extremely robust and resistant to laboratory chemicals and other damaging effects.

nora systems offer a complete flooring system with particularly low voc’s which aids indoor air quality. It also offers exceptional acoustic performance, is safe and comfortable underfoot and extremely easy and cost-effective to maintain.
