A new GRP Door Range from Garador

Garador have updated their range of popular GRP range to include a selection of new up & over and side-hinged garage doors. Glass reinforced polyester garage doors are an excellent choice for many homes, offering many advantages over steel and timber garage doors; as they don’t corrode or rust, they don’t warp or shrink and generally require very little maintenance.

Now Garador has added nine new up and over garage doors and four new side-hinged garage doors to their GRP range, providing a wider range of designs and styles to complement properties with varying designs, including integral and detached garages, as well as more modern and old-fashioned properties.

They are available in a selection of woodgrain and gloss finishes which offer a very authentic timber-like appearance, plus, a variety of designs which imitate panel pressings and timber slats. The new GRP side hinged garage doors, for example, include the Arden, Dorchester and Kenmore, each with the appearance of panel pressings, whilst the Somerset has the look of wooden slats. These side-hinged doors provide a low maintenance choice for those with limited space inside the garage or that have obstructions immediately inside the opening, such as shelving or an electric meter.

With the introduction of these new designs, the range of colours available has also been increased to 19 different colours which include many modern shades and finishes to create exactly the effect you want, from Irish oak and honey beach, through to a dark blue or deep red. There are also numerous window options now available on these prestigious garage doors which include clear and stippled perspex, leaded window designs and black non-translucent glazings.

Garador’s GRP up & over garage doors are constructed as an infill, with the GRP panel fixing into a rigid galvanised steel box section chassis to provide a solid stable door construction that will not twist or warp. Security is also enhanced with a euro cylinder and secure locking rods for canopy doors. Retractable lifting gear is also available across the GRP up & over door range.
