President’s Award: Green Infrastructure Action Plan for Pollinators, TACP
A long-term action plan for key stakeholders and public sector bodies to help address the decline in biodiversity in the four local authority areas of Monmouthshire, Blaenau-Gwent, Caerphilly and Torfaen.

College of Fellows’ Award for climate change adaptation: LIFE+ Climate-Proofing Social Housing, Groundwork London
The adaptation of three social housing estates in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham to increase their resilience to climate change.

Adding Value through Landscape Award: Sidcup High Street Revival Programme, Untitled Practice
A major redesign and regeneration of Sidcup High Street in the London Borough of Bexley, including 41 shop fronts.

Design for a Temporary Landscape Award: The Hive at Kew Gardens, BDP and Wolfgang Buttress

Design for a Small-Scale Development Award: Rotunda Community Campus, BCA Landscape
The design and development of a new campus adjacent to the main base of Rotunda Community College in Kirkdale, Liverpool

Design for a Medium-Scale Development Award: Piazza Gae Aulenti, AECOM
The redesign of Piazza Gae Aulenti, including incorporation of existing infrastructure, as part of the wider regeneration of Porta Nuova, Milan.

Design for a Large-Scale Development Award: Royal Stoke Hospital, Colour
Reorganisation of the 24ha City General campus in Stoke-on-Trent, consolidating two hospitals, replacing medical buildings and accessible pedestrian and vehicle circulation.

Communications and Presentation Award: The Review Journal 2010-15, B|D landscape architects
A five-year review of B|D’s time in practice since the inception of their successful annual Yearbook

Landscape Science, Management and Stewardship Award: The Crown Estate London Ecology Masterplan, Arup and the Crown Estate
The development of an estate-wide approach to ecology and green infrastructure for Regent Street and St James’s in Central London.

Heritage and Conservation Award: Pulham Gardens at Worth Park, Allen Scott
The restoration of the near-derelict Worth Park in Crawley, West Sussex, originally designed by the renowned James Pulham and Son in the late 1800s.

Local Landscape Planning Award: Woodside, Firhill & Hamiltonhill Development Framework, LUC
A cohesive development framework for the regeneration of the Woodside, Firhill, and Hamiltonhill areas of North Glasgow.

Landscape Policy and Research Award: Trees and Design Action Group, Capita Lovejoy
An influential and wide-reaching policy and research initiative for the conservation of urban trees in the United Kingdom.

Strategic Landscape Planning Award: South Downs National Park: View Characterisation and Analysis, LUC
Analysis and mapping of views to, from and within the South Downs National Park to enable the future conservation and enhancement of this aspect of the Park’s special qualities.

Urban Design and Masterplanning Award: Torpoint Vision, Clifton Emery Design with Torpoint Council
A framework for the redevelopment of the Cornish town of Torpoint and the surrounding hinterland.

Client of the Year Award: The Nene Park Trust, Peterborough, Davies White Ltd
A not-for-profit organisation, the Nene Park Trust has established an ongoing working relationship with Davies White in order to improve the Ferry Meadows Country Park in Nene Park, Peterborough.

Student Dissertation Award: Phenomenology Within Design, James Trevers, University of Edinburgh
A landscape architect’s account of the landscape of Plaszow, Krakow, the site of a former Nazi concentration camp, and their attempts to combine the key principles of landscape phenomenology to landscape architecture.

Student Portfolio Award: Peter Kennedy
An application of artistic composition learnt through drafting, model-making, multimedia and sketching to the composite nature of landscape architecture, examining whether composite imagery can provide an alternative to traditional planning.

The LI Awards are presented to landscape professionals in recognition of their outstanding work, and to encourage excellence. Every year, the LI applauds those working on the most innovative projects to have shaped, restored and protected the natural and built environment.

The awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional work of a diverse group of landscape professionals including landscape architects, designers, managers, planners and researchers.
