Ideas that construction needs - why are they gathering dust on a shelf?

Conference
Tue 3 Mar 2015

Some £225m was spent on construction research over a five-year period, yet many of the good ideas that came out of this research have never made it to site. The problem is that money is spent by researchers without a competent mechanism to inform either policy or the professions about the outcomes, or to take it forward commercially. This session explores how this can be changed so that ideas can become a commercial reality
