Dyson Design Series: Air quality re-engineered

Event
Tue 1 Oct 2019, 6.30-8pm

Sheltered from the outside world, we often forget the pollution that builds up in our indoor spaces. From cleaning chemicals to printers, which can release potentially harmful microscopic particles and gases, our indoor air quality is important to consider when we are designing with wellbeing in mind.

At this evening event we bring together industry experts to discuss the effects of air quality on our wellbeing, and how the design community can work to reduce its negative impact through design of spaces and technologies.

Speakers include:

- Mark Chapman, director of air quality, Cundall

- Jess Rowley, category intelligence engineer, Dyson

- Patrick Chester, project manager and Passivhaus consultantEnhabit UK

Chair: Vanessa Norwood, creative director, Building Centre

The evening presentations will begin at 6.30pm, followed by a chaired panel discussion and audience Q&A. The event will conclude at 7.45pm with a networking drinks reception and opportunity to visit Dyson’s Healthy Desk exhibition.

The event is free to attend, but registration is essential.

As this is a joint event between Dyson and the Building Centre, your booking information will be provided to both parties. Your email address will not be shared.

This event is part of the ‘Dyson Design Series’, an exhibition and public programme of events curated by Dyson and the Building Centre exhibitions team.
