The Wood Awards launch event on 18th March has been cancelled in order to contain the spread of COVID-19. Instead, we will be hosting a seminar and networking event on 24th September celebrating 50 years of the Wood Awards and the changing face of timber design in construction.
The Wood Awards celebrates excellence in architecture and product design in wood. The Awards aim to recognise and encourage outstanding design, craftsmanship and installation using timber.
The Wood Awards competition will still be launching online on 18 March. Please register your entry here.
Anyone involved in a UK-based wood project is invited to enter and has until 22nd May to submit their applications. There is no entry fee and entrants may submit more than one project. Applications must be made via woodawards.com. With permission from the owner, anyone associated with a building or product completed in the last two years, can enter.
Now in its 50th year, the Wood Awards promotes excellence in wood design throughout the UK. The Wood Awards’ elite independent judging panel not only judges all submitted entries but also visits the shortlisted projects in person, making the Wood Awards a uniquely rigorous competition.
Please join us then for what will be a timely celebration of timber in design.
