VBriQ Lite

The VBriQ Lite system from Alumasc Facades comprises the VBriQ synthetic brick slip finish on Alumasc Lite grey EPS insulation board. VBriQ Lite replicates the appearance of brick without many of the constraints associated with brick-based construction, due to the simplicity of installation, its lightweight nature and its energy efficient manufacture.

This BBA-approved system comprises the following components:

VBriQ Lite is a cost-effective and lightweight method of achieving a contemporary brick appearance on both low- and high-rise properties. Alumasc Lite grey EPS insulation provides the requisite thermal performance in a lightweight and cost-effective manner. The VBriQ synthetic brick slips can be manufactured to replicate almost any brick type and used in conjunction with a range of mortar colours to achieve the design intent of the architect.

  • 90 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.30 W/m2K
  • 120 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.25 W/m2K
  • 160 mm Lite insulation ~ 0.19 W/m2K

  • VBriQ finishes can replicate any UK brick’s colour and texture
  • VBriQ slips can be supplied in a number of size formats
  • VBriQ slips are lightweight – at c. 4.5 kg/m2
  • VBriQ is cost-effective to transport (up to 6,000 m2 of bricks can be transported per truck)
  • VBriQ is manufactured using just c. 12% of the energy to produce traditional bricks
  • Quick and simple to install (often upwards of 10 m2/day)
