Client: Family Alber, Gloriette Guesthouse
Designed by noa architectural studio, Gloriette Guesthouse in Soprabolzano, Italy is inspired by Art Nouveau design. It's jewel-like aesthetic compliments the topography of the surrounding Italian landscape and its bronze-coloured facade shells are positioned asymmetrically which sets a lively architectural language. The building is inspired by local architectural elements and its hipped roof and arched facade echoes the local architecture in Oberbozen. The building has 25 guestrooms and seven garden suites, which are located on three of the floors. The outdoor swimming pool looks out to the mountainous landscapes, and the building is equipped with bow windows which frame the architectural envelope.
