Neo Bankside

13 Jan 2025
Case study

A beautifully designed bespoke stainless steel worktop with an ultra thin edge profile and seamlessly integrated sink was recently installed in a fully refurbished apartment by Kinder Design. The worktop was formed in one piece from GEC Anderson brushed satin stainless steel. Cutouts for inset hob and taps were also included.

Brushed satin stainless steel provides a practical, durable, hygienic and attractive finish that blends with virtually any interior. Its reflective nature elevates and lightens the relatively small kitchen and dining space.

GEC Anderson’s A45 integrated sink bowl was specified. With internal dimensions of 450x400mm this provides a generous capacity whilst occupying a modest amount of counter space. The A45 sink is one of GEC Anderson’s Series A range of sink bowls that feature the 10mm corner radius and are available in lengths of 130, 180, 200, 230, 300, 340, 400, 450, 500, 550, 700 and 800mm.

The prestigious Neo Bankside development was designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners and is sited next to the iconic Tate Modern gallery in Southwark. A total of 217 apartments and penthouses are included in the development and are set within four pavilions. Images by Boz Gaganovski.
