VIDURSOLAR, S.L., a Spanish glass processing company, have recently launched a new solar energy product designed as a high-quality structural glazing element to allow buildings to generate PV energy. The product provides solutions for Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV).
VIDURSOLAR PV modules comprise of two toughened glasses laminated with PVB plastic interlayer, between which the photovoltaic cells are encapsulated.
VIDURSOLAR PV modules are tailor-made for use in a wide range of architectural applications. The modules can be manufactured in large panel sizes and are also available in a number of colours, shapes and electrical configurations.
The product has been designed to substitute architectural elements whilst generating PV energy.
