Xtratherm's XtroLiner Class 'O' modified PIR insulation board gets BBA accreditation

Xtratherm, a leading manufacturer of high quality PIR and phenolic insulation, is awarded BBA accreditation for its high performance insulation board XtroLiner.

XtroLiner is a Class 'O' modified PIR rigid foam insulation board with a robust composite foil facing on both sides to give exceptional thermal and fire performance for domestic and commercial buildings. The innovative product achieves a market leading thermal conductivity of 0.021W/mK and has a high water vapour resistance.

Group Technical Manager Danny Kearney says: "We're thrilled to have been awarded BBA certification for XtroLiner. It is the perfect solution for projects where thermal and fire implications need to be considered and is a real choice for architects and specifiers. XtroLiner has an excellent Euroclass 'C' classification and is available with engineered tongue and groove jointing, avoiding any U-value penalties associated with standard square edged boards. It is also CFC & HCFC free and manufactured under the highest standards of ISO 9001 and 14001 Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

"Our commitment to quality and continuing product improvement is endorsed by third party accreditation such as BBA and this latest certificate joins our comprehensive library of accreditations, emphasising Xtratherm's wide range of high performing insulation products. Combining our quality management with our extensive environmental accreditations means Xtratherm has the most comprehensive certification portfolio than any other insulation manufacturer," concludes Danny.
