Firebird, known for its high quality oil boilers, has amended its name. With immediate effect Firebird UK becomes Firebird Heating Solutions Limited
. This change reflects the growing product portfolio as the heating market adapts to change and embraces new technologies to provide a coordinated and economical solution to home heating.
In conjunction with the change of title to Firebird Heating Solutions, the UK company has also undertaken a structural reorganisation to streamline administration and increase focus on the customer. The reorganisation positions Debbie Coley as General Manager UK with a remit to oversee the whole of Firebird’s UK operation.
Training has been identified as a specific focus in the customer care programme and Barry Brynildsen will take on responsibility for this activity becoming National Training Manager in addition to his role as Northern Regional Sales manager. Other planned developments include the introduction of new, improved office systems, a further upgrade of the technical team and the introduction of a sales management system to assist the sales team in their areas. A new website is also in development for the trade to access information 24/7, with a separate consumer site to give potential customers general information prior to contacting their heating installer.
“Although the company name will be changing, we will still be known in the trade as Firebird of course” says General Manager Debbie Coley “The professionals know the Firebird brand name means quality and reliability and excellent service support and this will continue. We are also increasing customer contact levels, recognising that customer support is all important in today’s difficult market and we are restructuring our administrative systems and introducing new technology for added efficiency.”
The Firebird portfolio includes the premium Enviromax oil boilers and the contract market Silver Range together with standard efficiency models, which are held in stock.
Firebird also offer environmentally friendly solutions such as the Enviropel wood pellet boiler, the Bio-tec wood gasification boiler and three solar collector systems including the new TZ58 Heatpipe collectors which offer a highly efficient, cost saving solar system to coordinate with their boilers. A range cooker which incorporates a condensing oil boiler, and an inset stove have also recently been added to the range.
