Profile 22, the leading supplier of PVC-U systems has made an important addition to its stand at the highly praised Building Centre. The stand is now displaying the company’s brand new vertical slider window.
The Building Centre, the commercial arm of The Building Centre Trust based in the heart of central London, is an independent forum dedicated to providing information and inspiration to all building sectors. The Centre is open to all involved with the built environment and has become recognised as a unique showcase for the industry.
Profile 22’s new PVC-U vertical sliding sash window combines the classic look of an authentic sash window with the benefits of modern materials, being more thermally efficient than older sash window designs. The window has attained window energy rating of ‘A’ (WER) and BES: 6001 making it suitable for project developments in conservation areas and where environmental concerns are a priority.
As Andrew Reid, commercial sales director, for Profile 22 explained: “The Building Centre is the ideal place for Profile 22 to present the vertical sliding window and other products to clients. We have strengthened our specification team in London, and this is the perfect platform to support their activity.”

Bringing potential clients here provides them with a real interactive experience. They are able to test the products, giving complete assurance that they are making a sound investment with judgment based on a practical in-situ testing.”
As with all of Profile 22’s products, the vertical sliding window is extruded to BS EN 12608 and provides enhanced levels of resistance to weathering. The company has attained BS EN ISO: 9001, BS EN ISO: 14001 and BS OHSAS: 18001 and the vertical sliding window has full kitemark accreditation and has also been BBA assessed.
