Three New Appointments
The Building Safety Group

The Building Safety Group Ltd (BSG) are pleased to announce two new appointments and one promotion which reaffirms their ambition and growth for 2011.

Existing employee, Mick Byrne, has been promoted from Safety Adviser to Principal Safety adviser for the Midlands Region with effect from 27 April. Mick has previously worked as a trainer in Steel, Warehousing and Construction for 12 years and subsequently worked as a Safety Adviser for 9 years servicing many of BSG’s Members in and around the Central areas of the UK. Mick’s qualifications include the NEBOSH Construction Certificate and NVQ Level 4 in Occupational Safety and Health .He is also a member of IOSH.

Anne Aubertin joined on 11 April as a Safety Adviser for the Dorset region having previously worked for 7 years with a Groundworks and Civil Engineering company. She has a range of qualifications including 2 day scaffold inspection, First Aid at Work, CSCS Card, and both NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates. Along with Mick, Anne is an IOSH Member and BSG are very pleased to welcome her to the team.

BSG provides a range of health and safety services to over 800 members across the UK. The Safety Advisers role consists of fulfilling site inspections, dealing with member queries, and training members in a range of health & safety matters.

Finally, a new role has been created for a Part-time Telesales Administrator - Kathleen Stevens joined on Tuesday 26 April and will focus on Membership development.
