JELD-WEN, one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of doors, windows and stairs to the public sector, will reveal its complete range of energy efficient external doors, stylish and hardwearing internal doors, along with their range of sustainable timber windows at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s show Housing 2008. Also available is their chain of custody certified timber stairs, which are being widely specified by local authorities and housing associations.

New at this years show will be JELD-WEN’s new Ultra Plus A-rated Stormsure window, which is perfect for maximising energy efficiency, helping tenants to control the costs of rising fuel bills. As the window is manufactured from PEFC Chain of Custody certified timber, it offers public sector specifiers an excellent environmental choice. JELD-WEN will also be displaying its Hi-Profile Combi window, which is renowned for its high performance and low U-value, with total flexibility in design and configuration, making it perfect for multi-occupancy buildings. JELD-WEN’s windows are available to meet the Secured by Design specification.

JELD-WEN will also be revealing its latest designs as part of its composite doors range. The company’s composite doors are widely used by social housing providers throughout the UK because of their robust construction, high security and low maintenance. JELD-WEN’s composite doorsets offer some of the best thermal properties available on the market and can also be specified to meet Secured by Design requirements. JELD-WEN also offers a resident consultation and liaison service and manages the process to ensure greater tenant satisfaction.

In addition, JELD-WEN will be showcasing its latest designs for common flights of timber stairs, which are fully compliant with all relevant British Standards and are suitable for use in multi-occupancy dwellings.
