The Arsenal Store opts for Intelligent Flooring from Tarkett
Over 400m2 of Tarkett’s Granit iQ flooring has been installed as part of a major refurbishment of The Arsenal Store retail outlet in Finsbury Park, London. The store sells a range of Arsenal Football Club memorabilia, as well as replica kits and other related items.
When choosing the new flooring for the refurbishment, it was essential to find a low maintenance, hardwearing solution, as Chris Slater of B U Flooring explains: “Due to the high foot traffic through the store each week, it was important to select a flooring that could cope with heavy daily use while also being easy to maintain. Tarkett’s iQ range is ideal for this type of installation as it requires very little maintenance to keep it looking good. We are very pleased with the results at the Arsenal Store.”
Granit iQ was installed throughout the public areas of the store. As part of Tarkett’s iQ range of homogeneous vinyls, Granit is made with high-quality raw materials and features a 3rd generation PUR surface reinforcement that ensures the absolute minimum of heavy, wet cleaning. No wax or polish is ever needed and the amount of energy, water and chemicals needed for cleaning is significantly reduced, offering environmental benefits as well as cost savings.
Not only does Granit offer outstanding lifecycle costs, it also comes in a wide selection of colours and patterns, recently updated and relaunched, that allow architects and interior designers to create contemporary and attractive designs. With over 35,000,000m2 already installed worldwide over the last 40 years, Granit is one of the best-proven materials on the market.
