Tarkett’s best-selling vinyl receives a colourful facelift

The Eclipse range is one of Tarkett’s best-selling non-directional homogeneous vinyl products, and it has now been given a fresh new look with the launch of the new 24 Option range.

As a member of the internationally renowned Color Marketing Group, Tarkett has designed the new range taking on board the latest global trends in colour, to provide an up-to-date, comprehensive and very usable colour palette.

Beverley Cottingham, Senior Designer for Tarkett explains the colour choices: “In line with Tarkett’s environmental strategy, new colours include additions to the green, blue and brown shades to reflect society’s growing concerns over sustainability and the global climate. Grounding neutrals have also been sourced to support the drive for stability and to provide a base to some of the more inspirational and brighter options in the new palette.”

The Eclipse 24 Option range makes a very practical choice, allowing easy use of tone on tone to create visually appealing floor designs to suit any application. The sample cards for the new range now include light reflectance values as well as NCS references in order to assist designers and architects in complying with the Disability Discrimination Act ruling.

Eclipse’s through-chip construction ensures the flooring maintains its good looks throughout its lifetime, even in high traffic areas, while the no wax, no polish and easy clean PUR surface treatment help to significantly reduce maintenance time and costs. The non-directional design of Eclipse also means less wastage during installation.

Most commonly used in heavy-traffic commercial areas, Eclipse has been modified and refined over the years to meet the changing needs of various market sectors, but is particularly favoured in healthcare and education environments thanks to its hard-wearing, low maintenance qualities.
