Tarkett introduces fabulous five

Tarkett has further strengthened its range of flooring solutions with the introduction of 5 new products specially selected to address the needs of the UK market. These stunning floorcoverings present significant competitive advantages in the key areas of performance and design, offering solutions with enhanced slip resistance, acoustic properties and excellent resistance to scratches and abrasion.

The combination of modern design effects and superior performance makes Tarkett’s contemporary flooring products ideal for the most demanding environments including education, healthcare and retail. They deliver solutions in a choice of over 50 colours and textures, which offer superior resistance to scuffing, soiling and staining. They benefit from Tarkett’s TopClean PUR surface, ensuring easy, low-cost maintenance and greater lifetime value.

“These new products really help to re-focus our heterogeneous offering,” explains John Devine, Sales Director for Tarkett. “With fresh modern colours and enhanced performance characteristics, the overall collection delivers a range of key benefits for the flooring market.”

Contract Nature incorporates beautiful mineral effects in a wide choice of soft colours, while Contract Wood offers 10 super-realistic wood effect finishes. Both provide R10 slip resistance for added safety underfoot. Acczent Excellence 80 includes a 0.8mm pure PVC transparent wear layer, helping retain its original surface quality and appearance. The glass fibre non-woven reinforcement gives the flooring unique dimensional stability and the inclusion of TopClean XP guarantees no wax or polish will ever be needed.

For applications where enhanced sound absorption properties are required, Tarkett’s latest acoustic solutions have the answer. Contract Acoustic offers up to 19dB impact sound reduction, with a 0.5mm wear layer and TopClean XP PUR. The enhanced colour palette enables creation of sophisticated and stunning interiors.

Ideal for housing, Tapiflex Classic Plus also offers high sound absorption, up to 17dB. It features a hygienic and anti-allergenic, indentation resistant surface that’s reinforced with TopClean PUR for easy maintenance.

The collection is good for the environment too, with up to 30% recycled material content, and consuming less water, detergent and energy in cleaning. VOC emissions below quantifiable levels mean they also contribute to better indoor air quality.

These products are all now featured as part of Tarkett’s superb Top Deals programme. Contractors gain a reward point for every m2 purchased. Earn enough points to choose rewards from the latest must-have gadgets, outdoor sports and garden equipment and a selection of fantastic experience days.
