Supporting Le Tour Yorkshire in style

This July we see the opening ceremony of the Tour de France when Yorkshire play host to Le Grand depart, over the weekend of the 5th and 6th July 2014.

The Tour de France, Grand Depart will commence in Leeds at 11.10am on Saturday 5th July and the Yorkshire stage will complete on Sunday 6th  July in Sheffield. Supporting this will be the Yorkshire Bicycle show at Leeds Town Hall, where a Peloton charity  breakfast will be taking place prior to the Grand depart from the Headrow on Saturday 5th July from 9.30am. Supporting this once in a lifetime event and helping to make this a truly authentic Yorkshire showing are Playrite, specialist surfaces for sport and Drake Extrusion uk, fibre extruder.

The steps to Leeds  town hall will be resplendent with a specialist yellow entrance mat, designed exclusively for this great event and imitating the iconic yellow of the race leader's jersey.

Both companies are based in the glorious Yorkshire countryside and are pleased to be able to support Le Tour Yorkshire in such a striking way. Drake extrusion, manufacture staple fibre and continuous filament yarns to approved levels of quality assurance offering  a wide range of products and have supplied the yellow fibre to match the race leader's jersey. Whilst Playrite, manufacturers of specialist sports surfacing with a tradition of quality and innovation within the industry have exceeded expectations and manufactured a bespoke product with tight turn around time, yet keeping the high quality expected from a leading manufacturer.
