StormLine satisfies Pride Homes’ luxury requirements for Botley Road

New OSMA StormLine from Wavin Plastics has been installed in the Pride Homes exclusive development of luxury four-bedroom detached homes in Burridge, Southampton.

OSMA StormLine is an easy to install, high capacity ogee system, providing the definitive solution to combating the issues associated with increasing rainfall intensity and modern building types.

Turnpike Plumbing and Heating Limited were hired to fulfill the plumbing jobs at this development. Paul Humphreys from Pride Homes says: “The main specification that Turnpike were given in terms of the guttering was that it needed to have shape to it and it also needed to be high capacity. StormLine fits the bill perfectly.”

OSMA StormLine has an attractive classic ogee profile with a high front edge which has been designed to ensure the safe capture of high volumes of roof run-off under storm conditions. Even under extreme conditions, with unusually high run-off rates, the OSMA StormLine edge profile and internal ribs will quickly bring rainwater under control and guide it efficiently to the outlet.

Peter Clarke from Turnpike Plumbing and Heating Limited says: "Pride Homes always demand a quality installation and we aim to meet this standard, so always choose top-quality products.

“We trust OSMA products because we've used many of them before. OSMA have always been great in terms of quality and performance as well as good product backup, so we thought we'd give this new product a go.

“OSMA StormLine is high capacity and that's what we needed for this job because of the design of the roof. It was easy to install and the finished product looks and feels like a quality job.”

For roof areas up to 254m2 with one downpipe, OSMA StormLine is ideally suited to 3-Storey townhouse, multi-storey apartment blocks, luxury detached houses and conservatories. OSMA StormLine is available now in black, brown and white.
