For projects that desire a sleek, uniform appearance and demand exceptional energy efficiency, the new SF52 curtain wall system from Senior Architectural Systems can provide the perfect combination of aesthetics and thermal performance.
Interest in Senior’s thermally enhanced SF52 system has continued to soar following the product’s official launch in 2015, with SF52 now firmly established as Senior’s most popular curtain wall solution. Key to the system’s successful reception is its slim 52mm sight lines which help achieve an attractive uniform appearance. Available as a mullion drained system which removes the need for visible drainage slots, the new SF52 system can also be specified as capped, silicone sealed or as a combination of the two for even greater design flexibility.
SF52 has been carefully designed and developed to ensure that high aesthetics are equally matched by consistent and reliable construction quality, with no special machinery or tooling required for ease of fabrication. Suitable for ground floor or high rise projects, full design support and technical back-up is available and the range is also on the NBS National Building Modelling (BIM) Library.
The new SF52 system is fully compatible with Senior’s portfolio of windows and doors and is also capable of holding double or triple glazed units ranging from 24mm to 50mm in thickness via the use of various gaskets and thermal breaks. Fully CWCT tested and with excellent weather performance, SF52 is also durable, recyclable and has a life expectancy of more than 40 years.
