Iron technology leader Saint-Gobain PAM UK, part of leading international materials company Saint-Gobain, has released its latest Timesaver Specifier’s Manual, designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the Timesaver drainage system and its many benefits.
The Timesaver Specifer’s Manual includes information on the product range of drain pipes, soil pipes, fittings and heritage couplings available.
A proven drainage system for almost 40 years, the Timesaver cast iron above and below ground drainage systems offer superior strength, non-combustibility, enhanced noise reduction in a sustainable solution. Other benefits include easy installation through simple mechanical or push-fit couplings, plus the cast iron material guarantees a long-lasting drainage solution of up to 50 years.
Mike Rawlings, marketing manager – Soil & Drain at Saint-Gobain PAM UK, explained: “We are delighted to release an up-to-date Timesaver product guide for specifiers, explaining the numerous key features of the system.
“Originally launched in 1973, the Timesaver system has steadily established a solid reputation for itself within the marketplace, with both the above ground and below ground systems awarded the highly acclaimed BS Kitemark in 1982.
“The system’s push-fit couplings help transform a typically mechanical pipe system into a traditional-looking product that is ideal for heritage buildings and all grade listed properties, while the range also complies with British Standards BS 416 Part 2 for above ground and BS 437 for below ground, with fittings and diameters appropriate for these standards.
“The flexibility, strength and durability of Timesaver has ensured its longevity over nearly 40 years and will be central to its continued success in future.”
