Royal Windsor Winner

Homes & Gardens Designer of 2011, Jamee Kong, of Design Space London selected sleek stainless steel worktops, from GEC Anderson for Penthouse apartments overlooking the Thames.

“The continuous stainless steel worktops, with deep edge profiles provide an important and bright ‘focal-point’ to the penthouse kitchens,” says Jamee.

GEC Anderson stainless steel worktops are available in lengths of up to five metres. L-shapes and irregular forms can be made without joins. Sinks and edges - including upstands and lipped profiles - are also fully integrated so there are no visible or vulnerable junctions. All this makes quality stainless steel worksurfaces ideal in domestic or commercial settings. GEC Anderson Managing Director, Martin Tye, puts it succinctly "For serious kitchen design, with long-term performance and appearance in mind, there really is no alternative."
