RIDI Lighting’s popular EBD downlight range has been expanded to include LED versions of the existing spot range and a new square recessed variation. Also offered as an LED light source, the new EBDQ-LED luminaire is available in a variety of sizes and outputs. With a rating of IP40 up to IP44, the EBDQ-LED is a durable, secure fitting, suitable for wide-scale deployment in a variety of commercial environments.
Serving the current trend for low-profile, square luminaires, RIDI applies its reliable German engineering and reputation for excellent build quality to the new EBD models. Available in five sizes (150 – 340mm) with a range of with drivers for both 350 and 700 mA, these luminaries have outputs ranging from 800 – 4000lumens. All of the new square models can also be customised to order using a selection of RIDI’s accessories.
“Our new square EBDQ pendant luminaire has been designed to match the round EBD range which are both available now as an LED light source,” says Mike Attard, Managing Director of RIDI UK. “All our LED luminaires are created in our German factory using our own RIDI LED boards. These offer impressively high output coupled with minimal energy consumption to create a climate-friendly and sustainable solution to your specific lighting needs.”
The reflector housing comprises a stable mounting frame in die-cast metal with tooless fixing clips for ceiling mounting. The frame also incorporates a fixture for tooless mounting or additional accessories and decorative frames which can be ordered separately. The inner reflector is finished off in a high reflectance white coating.
The remote luminaire gear box is crafted from a galvanised steel base-plate and houses the LED driver, along with the connector block with cable strain relief and the connecting cable to the RIDI LED module. The EDBQ-LED has been built for longevity, efficient performance and low maintenance across the life of the fitting. All RIDI downlighter LED boards are designed to be serviceable at the end of life
