Rehau windows installed in care home

REHAU fabricator NCE Windows has installed more than 70 windows in a care home development in Warrington, Cheshire.

Casement windows and push bar exit doors fabricated in REHAU’s S706 70mm system have been installed throughout the extension and refurbishment at Woolston Hall.

The casement windows have been used in part to create a glazed sun lounge for the Hall’s elderly residents with self cleaning glass fitted throughout. They have also been fitted to replace badly deteriorated timber windows in other parts of the development.

St Helens-based NCE was awarded the contract by main contractor Bramall Construction on the basis of its product quality in the REHAU PVC-U system and its expertise in the commercial sector.

Fabricating around 150 frames per week, NCE was also able to offer a very flexible and responsive service to Bramall - successfully tying in deliveries and installation with the overall construction schedule.

NCE recently invested in a large quantity of new machinery to help boost its production volumes and maintain the product quality which it hopes will bring ISO9002 and BSI accreditation shortly. Further details are available at
