REHAU is exhibiting at Ecobuild for the third successive year and is demonstrating its complete range of energy efficient building solutions.
One of the main features on the stand will be the new GENEO® super energy efficient window which REHAU is promoting as the ideal solution for low carbon homes.
Triple glazed and Argon filled, GENEO® can achieve a market leading U-Value of 0.73W/m2K and even double glazed it can achieve 1.1W/m2K. It is so far proving popular with social housing providers looking to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes and with developers and self builders of ‘green’ properties.
GENEO® is a six chamber system extruded from a new high-tech fibre composite material branded RAU-FIPRO®. A self reinforced design, it does not require additional steel, eliminating the thermal bridges through which energy can be lost in conventional PVC-U frames.
There are currently two specialist companies fabricating GENEO® – Solar Windows which will have its own separate stand at Ecobuild specifically to promote the window alongside the REHAU Polytec 50S composite curtain walling system, and Glasgow based Window Master.
Also on the REHAU stand will be selected products from REHAU’s complete range of polymer based building solutions including the AWADUKT Thermo, ground – air heat exchanger, RAUGEO ground source energy probes and REHAU underfloor heating system.
Visitors to the stand will be able to try out the interactive Building Configurator which enables them to type in the parameters of their planned build and then see almost instantly how they could optimise its efficiency by using any of the energy efficient and renewable energy solutions from REHAU.
They can also use the online dealer locator to find details of the nearest REHAU Authorised Partner in their region, for the supply of windows and doors, underfloor heating or renewable energy products.
