Promat Increases Fire Protection Options With New Range Of Engineered Doorsets

Promat UK has announced the launch of a new range of superior quality, high performance steel doorsets which can provide up to 240 minutes of fire protection. The Promat DURASMOOTH® doorsets can be produced in many different variations, making them suitable for a wide range of applications, including office, industrial and commercial premises, food and drink processing facilities, plus power generation, petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants.

 

Fire rated to BS EN 1634 and Certifire approved, the new doorsets have been specifically designed to combine impressive strength and reliable performance with a smooth-faced, attractive appearance, and their design allows them to offer a high degree of flexibility in terms of configuration. Single and double leaf versions are available for internal or external use, along with a variety of fire, security, acoustic and hygiene performance ratings to suit most applications. They can also be purpose-built to individual specifications so that they satisfy the most complex of requirements.

 

Durable and impact-resistant, the factory-engineered Promat DURASMOOTH® doors have a high strength-to-weight ratio. They are resistant to corrosion, rotting and warping, and give the highest levels of fire protection without the need for an intumescent component to be added.

 

Maintenance requirements are low, and all doorsets are supplied with the door leaf pre-hung in a steel frame, ready for ironmongery and accessories to be fitted on site. They can be supplied as an integral part of a comprehensive Promat fire protection system, or as an individual item suitable for fixing into timber or steel stud partitions and brick or blockwork apertures.

The range can be specified and supplied with standard ironmongery, and a wide range of options are also offered. These include side panels, vision panels. latchless operation, single or double action options and a wide range of durable polyester finish colours,
