Polypipe Water Management Solutions
(WMS), the UK’s dedicated experts focused on the sustainable drainage and water management industry, has received approval from the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for its Ridgistorm-XL large diameter pipe.
The BBA approval covers Ridgistorm-XL in 750-900mm diameter with its rubber seal, push-fit joint in both perforated and non-perforated form for attenuation and infiltration applications. Ridgistorm-XL was assessed against three key performance factors to test the strength, joint integrity and durability of the pipe system.
Design of the pipe system, installation guidance and ongoing maintenance provisions were also considered during the product’s testing to assess its technical specifications and ensure the product performs as expected once installed.

In addition to its BBA certification, 750-900mm Ridgistorm-XL also carries approval from the Highways Authorities’ Product Approval Scheme (HAPAS) to verify its use in road and highways projects.

Ridgistorm-XL is ideally suited to large-scale pipeline, soakaway and attenuation projects within the civil engineering and construction industries and is safer, quicker and easier to handle and install than traditional rigid materials.
