On the first and second floors, POE has created further office space, glass meeting rooms and break-out areas. It was also responsible for decorating each room, installing specialist lighting, providing mechanical and electrical services, as well as applying all floor finishes.
Denise Hayton, facilities executive at PZ Cussons said: “We gave POE a very tight schedule and as a result of the company’s professional and accommodating approach, we moved in on the day we agreed.
“The designs were continually evolving throughout the 16 weeks, but nothing was a problem for the POE team, who turned a potentially stressful process into an enjoyable one.
“Our employees are over the moon with their new office environment which is dramatically different and much more motivational than our previous space. Visitors are also very impressed, with many of them genuinely amazed at some of the office’s features.”
Angela Seddon, director at CBRE who project managed the fit out, commented: “POE demonstrated the utmost flexibility and dedication during the fit-out. We were particularly impressed with the team’s attitude who continued to provide solutions to any problems faced throughout the course of the project.”
Jeremy Cox, senior project manager for Preferred Office Environments, added: “We have relished the opportunity to transform one of the largest offices in South Manchester into a truly impressive workspace. Working in close partnership with CBRE and using a specialist team of skilled tradesmen and professionals, we have brought PZ Cussons’ design concept to life and delivered a high-quality office environment that everyone in the organisation can be proud of.”
