PatioMaster, the inline sliding door specialist, has unveiled its new rapid delivery non-standard foiling offer, the latest in a ‘triple’ of service and product innovations.
Available in as little as 10 calendar days it gives fabricators and installers access to a far more flexible colour offer supporting new sales opportunities across sectors.
It comes just weeks after PatioMaster became the first in-line sliding door manufacturer to offer a top Door Energy Rating ‘A’ rating and hot on the heels of the launch of its Secured by Design offering.
Rob McGlennon, divisional sales director at PatioMaster parent, Epwin Systems Division, said: “We’re able to deliver a much better and stronger foiling offer and that in turn has meant that we can be far more flexible in the service we provide.
“This is supporting fabricators and installers in accessing new opportunities across sectors but particularly in retail by offering home owners something that is immediately and tangibly different.”
Reflecting the findings of independent research, which found significant demand for a flexible and affordable foiled product offer, the new offer brings 19 different non-standard foil and colour options to fabricators and installers.
In addition to already established wood grain options this includes white wood grain, three shades of grey, Beck Brown (black), Chartwell Green, cream, blue, red and green. It also includes, a premium offering of subtle pastel shades including Willow Green, delicate off-whites, Barley Water and Vanilla, Sienna PN and Sienna PR.
McGlennon continued: “The PatioMaster Network is bringing a complete inline sliding door offer to the doorsteps of UK fabricators and installers. Flexibility on colour is the latest in a series of technical innovations, launched alongside enhanced thermal efficiency and inherent strength and security – it’s a complete offer.”
PatioMaster, became the first inline sliding door manufacturer to secure a top Door Energy Rating (DER) ‘A’ rating option across its product range in February.
An independent measure of a door’s energy efficiency, DERs are based on the U-value (rate of heat transfer) and air leakage. Performance ratings range from A (most energy efficient) to G (least energy efficient) and follow the same ‘traffic light’ scale commonly used on domestic appliances and by the well-established Window Energy Ratings (WERs) scheme.
The network launched its Secured by Design (SBD) option last year. Enhanced security features include the addition of two patio interlock bolts which lock the sliding panel to the fixed frame and which mean that would-be burglars cannot force the door apart.
The SBD door also features a full width security head rail, which runs across the full width of the top opening panel and a full height security keep rail, designed to strengthen the sliding sash at the corners plus enhanced hardware.
